What are you thankful for?
Wouldn't it be great if we asked ourselves this question every day, rather than just this time of year?  We all certainly have a lot to be thankful for, and that’s especially true this year at PFP. Here’s a short list of 3 things for which PFP is always thankful:

  1. Our Team:  We’re thankful every day to work with such a talented, dedicated, and passionate group of people.  From our independent crew down in Texas, to our codependent (Ha!) crew here in Tennessee, these guys and gals know how to get it done.  They work smart, they work safe, they work hard, and we’re lucky to have every one of them.
  2. Our Customers:  It goes without saying (but we’re saying it anyway), that none of this would be possible without our customers.  Everybody answers to someone, and here at PFP the customer is the boss.  Our customers demand our best work and make us better at what we do.  Our customers spread the word and give the word-of-mouth referrals that keep our pipeline full.  Our customers write the checks that keep the lights on – not only in our factories, but also in our homes.  Now THAT is something to be thankful for.
  3. Our Families:  You may have noticed a list of our core beliefs on the “Welcome” page, the first of which is “The purpose of business is to provide for families, serve customers, and improve communities.”  The phrase “provide for families” comes first in that short list for a very important reason - we believe that’s why we are all here.  Don’t get me wrong.  We love making die cuts.  However, at the end of the day, we’re all here to provide for our families.  We are a family business after all!

So as we celebrate Thanksgiving and kick off the holiday season, I hope you are able to take some time to sit back, put your feet up for a few minutes, and reflect on your many blessings – not only co-workers, customers, and families, but also friendship, well-being, nourishment, liberty, security, education, opportunity, prosperity, generosity, kindness, love– the list goes on and on!  Gobble, gobble...
